Essential Training
I used to train the dogs until I realized it’s the dog owners that need the training so they are able to train and control their own dog. It is the only way you will gain your dog's trust and respect and establish yourself as the benevolent leader. What you need are instructions on how to establish a Behavior Foundation (house rules) with daily routines and simple training exercises so you can accomplish this on your own and your dog will trust and respect you.
I show dog owners how to teach their dogs calm and polite behavior in or out of the home, as well as how to raise a polite puppy. We will establish a "Behavior Foundation" and add structure and calmness to the dog's life as well teach basic obedience; not giving a dog enough leadership and house rules can be trouble. I provide in-home training to teach you how to do this my training sessions last for two hours — your daily sessions, however, last for the life of the dog.

All dogs require a stable predictable environment, a clear set of rules (Behavior Foundation) and a confident reliable leader (you). We cannot train a dog with love alone, a dog needs guidance and structure. Dogs are not complicated creatures. It’s the humans who create the complication. What they need from us is clear, dependable leadership – not cuddling and spoiling.
The # 1 cause for behavior problem is lack of structure and management. The more structure, with clear communication, the more success. For a dog, not knowing what to do in an unfamiliar environment is very stressful and makes them act up. A dog’s home must be safe and predictable where your dog can learn without fear.
